Tasks and Functions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices (Ditjen Farmalkes) is an echelon I unit in the Ministry of Health which has the task of organizing the formulation and implementation of policies in the field of pharmaceutical management and medical devices. The task is further elaborated in the implementation of functions which include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. formulation of policies in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, production and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and household health supplies, control of medical devices and household health supplies, and governance of health supplies, as well as pharmaceutical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. implementation of policies in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, production and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and household health supplies, control of medical devices and household health supplies, and governance of health supplies, as well as pharmaceutical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. preparation of norms, standards, procedures and criteria in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, production and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and household health supplies, control of medical devices and household health supplies, and governance of health supplies, as well as pharmaceutical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. providing technical guidance and supervision in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, production and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and household health supplies, control of medical devices and household health supplies, and governance of health supplies, as well as pharmaceutical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. implementation of monitoring, analysis, evaluation, and reporting in the field of pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, production and distribution of pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and household health supplies, control of medical devices and household health supplies, and governance of health supplies, as well as pharmaceutical services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. implementation of the administration of the Directorate General; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. implementation of other functions assigned by the Minister.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
