The availability and affordability of pharmaceutical products, especially drugs and drug raw materials, are provided by the pharmaceutical industry.<br \/>\nDengan telah ditetapkannya Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI, yaitu Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 1799\/MENKES\/PER\/XII\/2010 tanggal 16 Desember 2010 tentang Industri Farmasi dan beberapa peraturan teknis lainnya, menggantikan peraturan yang sebelumnya karena sudah tidak sesuai lagi dengan kebutuhan, kondisi dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta teknologi terkini. Terbitnya peraturan baru ini, Pemerintah dituntut untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip <i>Clean Goverment <\/i>dan <i>Good Governance <\/i>secara universal dan diyakini menjadi prinsip yang diperlukan untuk memberikan pelayanan publik prima kepada masyarakat.
