In preparation for the institutional transition to the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in accordance with the direction of the Minister of Health in supporting health transformation, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices through the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices visited UPF-PFK Palembang on June 25-26, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the Secretary General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Dita Novianti S.A. had the opportunity to attend and was accompanied by the Head of BPFK Jakarta, Subadri. This activity aims to obtain an overview of the conditions of UPF-PFK Palembang so that later the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices can provide maximum support in accordance with the needs of the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, it was conveyed that the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals is ready to provide support in terms of budget, human resources and infrastructure needed by BPFK and UPF, while the transfer process is just waiting for approval from the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"The Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices is ready to provide support to BPFK and LPFK including UPF-PFK Palembang in order to carry out work in accordance with functional duties and is expected to provide greater ability to assist the tasks and functions of medical device supervision,\" concluded Dita. UPF-PFK Palembang is a functional implementation unit under the guidance of BPFK Jakarta, the Head of BPFK Jakarta said that with all the support that will be provided by the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, it is hoped that UPF-PFK Palembang can become an independent work unit and with the move of BPFK under the Directorate General of Health is expected to be able to carry out tasks and functions that support the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
