Minister of Health Regulation Number 1191/ Menkes/Per/VIII/2010 concerning Medical Device Distributors states that medical devices can only be distributed by companies that already have a Medical Device Distributors License (IPAK), which means that the distribution of medical devices is carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Good Medical Device Distribution Practice (CDAKB) which refers to the international standard, namely Good Distribution Practice (GDP). In Permenkes 4 of 2014 concerning Good Medical Device Distribution Practice based on article 2 paragraph 1 states that every medical device distributor and medical device distributor branch in carrying out distribution activities must implement CDAKB.
