Today, Tuesday 29/04/2014, the Directorate of Production and Distribution of Medical Devices - Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices held a Socialization and Technical Coordination of Medical Device Licensing which is planned to last until May 2, 2014.

The event was held at the JW Marriot Hotel - Surabaya and attended by more than 200 participants consisting of representatives of the Provincial / District / City Health Office, Hospitals, KKP, Health Centers and Central participants including the organizers of the Procurement Service Unit (ULP) at the Ministry of Health.

Some of the issues that will be discussed in this activity include the National Health Equipment Monitoring System which will involve the Provincial Health Office, Hospitals, KKP, the Medical Device and HHS Industry and aims to integrate the various systems that have been implemented in the Directorate of Medical Device Development. The next issue is still about the e-catalog of Medical Devices, as well as the Development of the Domestic Medical Device Industry.

This activity was also combined with a visit to the Medical Device Industry Facilities in East Java, as well as two-way communication between the participants and the speakers in each topic discussed in this activity which was then discussed in group discussions whose results would be recommendations for the Ministry of Health and stake holders related to the technical licensing of Medical devices and PKRT.
