The role of pharmacists in pharmaceutical services for pediatric patients is to detect and prevent drug-related problems. To meet these needs, pharmacists must understand pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics for pediatric patients. Pharmacists must be able to collaborate with other health workers to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services that can ensure the safe use of drugs, drug efficacy by paying attention to the development of new drugs in the community.
