The Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services through the Gema Cermat Program has held the Gema Cermat webinar series II in the context of equipping pharmacists in overcoming Covid-19 with the theme “Pharmaceutical Services in the Midst of a Pandemic”, which was held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 08.30 to 12.00 Western Indonesian Time.
This meeting was attended by pharmacists and pharmaceutical workers who are in charge of pharmaceutical services in health service facilities (Puskesmas and hospitals) and provincial / district / city health offices. There were 3,111 webinar participants who followed via Zoom and YouTube social media. Here is the YouTube live streaming link:
There were three materials presented by the speakers who were moderated by the Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Mrs. Dita Novianti, S.Si., Apt., M.M. The materials presented by the speakers are as follows:
- Government Policies and Efforts in Handling Covid-19 by Dr. H. Muhammad Budi Hidayat, M.Kes., Secretary of the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control;
- Development of Covid-19 Vaccine in Indonesia by Dr. apt. M. Rahman Roestan, S.Si., MBA, Operations Director of PT Biofarma
- Controlling Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) during the Covid-19 Pandemic by Dr. Hari Paraton, Sp.OG(K), Chairman of the Antimicrobial Resistance Control Committee.
