Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin and Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi reviewed the third day of Covid-19 vaccination, as well as the last day of phase 1 vaccination for employees of the Ministry of Trade, Saturday (13/3) at the Ministry of Trade Headquarters, Central Jakarta. The vaccination was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices), Gambir District Health Center and RSCM.
“We thank the Minister of Health and the staff of the Ministry of Health who have worked hard and made the implementation of Covid-19 vaccination for Ministry of Trade employees possible. This effort provides support for Ministry of Trade employees to work enthusiastically and fight the Covid-19 pandemic,” said Minister Lutfi.
During the review, Minister Lutfi appreciated the completion of the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination for all Ministry of Trade employees. Furthermore, the Ministry will prepare to carry out phase 2 vaccination scheduled for March 25-27, 2021 or 14 days after the first vaccination.

Meanwhile, Minister of Health Budi, who was accompanied by Director of Health Equipment and PKRT Assessment Wirabata, said that all ministries and institutions are currently undergoing the Covid-19 vaccination process. In addition to health workers and the elderly population, employees in the public service sector are also a group that has received the government's main attention to be given the Covid-19 vaccine.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade, Suhanto, said the vaccination of Ministry of Trade employees will greatly help improve the quality of public services. Suhanto ensures that public services at the Ministry of Trade during the Covid-19 pandemic continue to run by implementing health protocols. For example, the implementation of rotating entry rules for employees, the obligation to wear masks, and the obligation to show antigen letters for visitors.
“The implementation of good health protocols supports the quality of MoT's public services during the pandemic, and ensures the safety of both employees and visitors. Even though we regulate employee entry hours, public services are still running,” said Suhanto.

As of the third day, 3,651 employees of the Ministry of Trade have participated in the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination which was divided into three days, namely on March 11-13, 2021. The vaccination process went smoothly and orderly. Employees are required to come according to the vaccination attendance schedule, and immediately leave the vaccination site if they have completed the vaccination procedure on that day. This was done to ensure health protocols were followed and to prevent crowds in the office area.
