In order to ensure the availability and affordability of drugs, both essential drugs, generic drugs, and trademarked drugs, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers need to be fostered so that they can meet the requirements set in accordance with the objectives in the field of drug distribution.
Penyusunan Pedoman ini berdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 38 Tahun 2007 tentang Pembagian Urusan Pemerintahan antara Pemerintah , Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi dan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten/Kota yang memberikan tugas dan kewajiban kepada Provinsi untuk melaksanakan pembinan di bidang sarana produksi dan distribusi farmasi dan berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI Nomor 1 148/MENKES/PER/VI/201 1 tentang Pedagang Besar Farmasi dan Cara Distribusi Obat yang Baik (CDOB).
