HEALTH BUSINESS GATHERING 2021, held at Mulia Resort, Nusa Dua, Bali. The event was opened by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and attended by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia's Health Transformation 2021-2024 is the main objective of the event initiated by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.

The series of Health Business Gathering activities featured the Domestic Medical Devices Product Exhibition and the Pharmaceutical Supplies Exhibition in an effort to make Indonesia independent and there were also virtual exhibitions of domestic medical devices and pharmaceutical preparations.

In addition, the Health Business Gathering was organized as an effort to improve national development, especially in the health sector. This effort is carried out by prioritizing human resources and health infrastructure development to accelerate economic growth. The Health Business Gathering was also held to strengthen relationships, encourage sustainable economic development, and promote health cooperation with partner countries around the world. The event also aims to promote Indonesia's health transformation 2021-2024.

In order to facilitate and establish communication between policy makers from Indonesia and partner countries, both from the government sector, health institutions, universities, hospitals and industry, it is hoped that this activity can accelerate cooperation in the health sector, especially pharmaceuticals and medical devices, health services, and health workers.

In the event, which was held on November 3 - 4, 2021, topics and strategic issues regarding health sector investment policies and regulations on the availability of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in an effort to resilience and independence were discussed. Then, issues related to drug and vaccine distribution licenses in Indonesia, strategic frameworks in health reform, and the dynamics of pharmaceuticals and medical devices in Indonesia are also discussed. The Health Business Gathering will also discuss the current situation of the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, opportunities for technologists, and PCR infrastructure for strategic surveillance.
