After holding a series of Public Hearing activities on the Draft Bill on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals carried out Socialization and FGD activities on the Draft Bill on Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.

This Dissemination and FGD activity aims to convey the government's attitude towards the draft bill from the DPR as well as to identify issues, things that are considered important and things that must be done by the government through the law that is being drafted.

The first day of the dissemination and FGD raised topics related to pharmaceutical and medical device resilience, with the hope that the Health Bill will increase independence in producing pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices.

The activity which was held on March 27, 2023 at J S Luwansa Hotel was opened by the Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices and Keynote Speech from the Deputy Minister of Health.

The activity was held in a hybrid manner and was attended by representatives of relevant Ministries / Institutions, Academics, Expert Practitioners and involved relevant stakeholders such as the Chairperson of the Association of Indonesian Pharmaceutical Colleges (APTFI), The Indonesian Association for the Study of Medicinals (IASMED), the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Entrepreneurs Association (GPFI), International Pharmaceutical Manufactures (IPMG), Chairperson of the Association of Biopharmaceuticals & Drug Raw Materials (AB3O), Chairman of the Indonesian Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialists (PERDATIN), Chairman of the Indonesian Cardiology Intervention Society (PIKI), Chairman of the Indonesian Society of Orthopedic and Traumatology Specialists (PABOI), Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Device Manufacturers Association (ASPAKI), Chairman of the Association of Medical Device and Laboratory Entrepreneurs (GAKESLAB), Chairman of the Indonesian Medical Technology Association (IMTA), Chairman of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI), Chairman of the Indonesian Herbal and Traditional Medicine Association (GP Jamu).
