In a series of activities of the National Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakontek) in 2023 which was held on April 4-5, 2023 at Le Meridein Hotel Jakarta, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices awarded the Farmalkes Award to selected Provincial and District Health Offices.

The award, which was handed over by the Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, L Rizka Andalusia to the winners who were also witnessed by the Minister of Health, is expected to motivate and spur the performance of the Health Office, both Provincial and Regency / City.

There are 7 categories in the awarding of the Farmalkes Award in the National Coordination Meeting of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in 2023, here are the seven categories and awardees:

• Dekon Award 2022, is an award given to the Provincial Health Office for the best deconcentration performance based on 4 things, including Budget Realization Value, Assessment Value of Budget Implementation Performance Indicators (IKPA), Submission of Performance Reports, and Performance Evaluation Value for the Implementation of Work Plans and Budgets (NKA) in 2022.
  • 1st Place: West Kalimantan Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: Central Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: Bengkulu Provincial Health Office.

• The Best Drug Requirement Planning Award, is an award given to the Province with the best guidance to the Districts / Cities in its territory for commitment in the realization of the drug requirement plan for 2021 and 2022.
  • 1st Place: West Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: Central Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: South Sulawesi Provincial Health Office.

• The Best Pharmaceutical Service Award, is an award given to the Province with the largest percentage of health centers in accordance with standards in 2022.
  • 1st Place: South Kalimantan Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place : Yogyakarta Special Region Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: Central Java Provincial Health Office.

• The Best Antibiotic Use in Primary Care Facilities Award, is an award given to the Province that tops the rankings with the smallest percentage of antibiotic use in 2022.
  • 1st Place: Yogyakarta Special Region Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: Bali Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: Jakarta Special Capital Region Provincial Health Office.

• The Best Vaccine Data Management Award, is an award given to Provinces with active utilization of the SMILE application in vaccine management for the period December 2022 - February 2023.
  • 1st Place: Central Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: East Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: West Java Provincial Health Office.

• The Provincial Category Domestic Product Drug Expenditure Award, is an award to the Provincial Health Office with the largest domestic product drug expenditure in 2022.
  • 1st Place: West Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: East Java Provincial Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: Central Java Provincial Health Office.

• The Regency / City Category Domestic Product Drug Expenditure Award, is an award to the District / City Health Office with the largest domestic product drug expenditure in 2022.
  • 1st Place: Tangerang Regency Health Office.
  • 2nd Place: Bogor Regency Health Office.
  • 3rd Place: Pasuruan Regency Health Office.

In addition to giving awards according to the 7 categories above, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices also gave one special award to the Health Office with the best performance in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. The award was given to the Central Java Provincial Health Office for being the best winner in 5 of the 7 award categories.
