The National Health Day (HKN) commemoration ceremony on November 12, 2024 held at the Ministry of Health ceremony field is the culmination of a series of HKN activities which is currently entering its 60th year, with the theme “Move Together, Healthy Together”.
During the ceremony, Indonesian Minister of Health Budi G. Sadikin said that health is a priority program in the Red and White Cabinet government. It was also conveyed that President Prabowo Subianto emphasized three health priority areas, namely free health checks for all age groups, the reduction of TB cases, and the construction of complete quality hospitals in remote and underdeveloped areas.
In his direction, the Minister of Health emphasized the importance of conducting routine health checks to detect declining health conditions early, these conditions must be treated quickly so that the community can avoid the need to be hospitalized.
In addition, the Ministry of Health is also developing a medium-term plan to ensure the next 5-year health strategy in accordance with President Prabowo's direction, in order to work together not only within the Ministry of Health but also with other ministries/agencies and local governments throughout Indonesia.
“On this occasion, I advise all health channels to contribute maximally to the successful achievement of the government program,” said the Minister of Health.
The role of the Ministry of Health is to ensure that the central and local governments can work together so that all programs in the Ministry of Health are aimed at ensuring that the Indonesian people remain healthy. The Minister of Health invites the entire community to continue to prioritize health, starting from oneself, family, and the environment.
“Let us build a healthy culture together, for the sake of the Golden Indonesia 2045, even to the next generation,” said the Minister of Health.
In this series of 60th HKN ceremonies, Minister Budi G. Sadikin awarded Satyalancana Karya Satya honors to Kemenkes RI civil servants with 30 years, 20 years, and 10 years of service.
In addition, awards were also given to outstanding State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the Ministry of Health in 2024 with three award categories, namely Inspiring Leader, Best Team Leader, and Best Innovator. Awards were also given to work units within the Ministry of Health that have met the requirements for a Corruption-Free Area in 2024.
