Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Heri Radison officially opened the Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) Implementation Training on September 25, 2024 in Bogor.
The training, initiated by the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals in collaboration with the BPKP's Center for Supervisory Education and Training (Pusdiklatwas), aims to improve the competence of Human Resources (HR) within the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals, so that they can effectively evaluate the implementation of Government Agency Performance Accountability (AKIP).

In his speech, Heri Radison emphasized the importance of implementing good governance. According to him, every stage in the performance accountability cycle from planning, agreement, monitoring, reporting, to performance evaluation is an activity that must be carried out with the best quality to ensure accountable, agile, and reliable government.
Heri also underlined that the quality of human resources is the main key in implementing performance accountability. Competent human resources are an important asset for agencies in the face of fast-moving developments in policy and science. “Performance accountability training like this is very important, especially now, so that employees have the skills needed to support the progress of the agency,” said Heri.
He emphasized the importance of active participation of all participants in this training, so that the provisions obtained can be used to improve the accountability and performance of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals. Heri also reminded that the “highly satisfactory” (AA) predicate achieved by the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals in the 2023 assessment must be maintained through improving the quality of performance accountability implementation in the coming years.
This training is also in line with the Inspector General's Circular Letter on strengthening the role of the Internal Control Unit (SPI) and Internal Compliance Unit (SKI) in order to improve governance and risk management within the Ministry of Health. Training participants will receive an in-depth understanding of the Minister of PANRB Regulation Number 88 of 2021,
During the three-day training, participants will receive materials related to performance measurement, reporting, and evaluation from Widiswara Pusdiklat Pengawasan BPKP. “With this knowledge, we hope to be able to create a more optimal and sustainable pharmaceutical and medical device performance,” Heri concluded.
