In order to support the successful implementation of the Bureaucratic Reform program, it is necessary to accelerate and escalate the achievement of the implementation of Bureaucratic Reform, Health Transformation and Internal Transformation of the Ministry of Health. In order to accelerate and improve the success of these achievements, the support of Change Agents is needed.
The Ministry of Health as one of the state institutions that formulates Change Agents within the Ministry of Health issued Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07/MENKES/1987/2022 on December 21, 2022 concerning Agent of Change within the Ministry of Health.
The Agent of Change of the Ministry of Health RI is determined based on the proposal of Echelon I units by taking into account personal qualifications which at least consider the results of employee surveys, personal interests, talent boxes and superior recommendations as well as final triangulation through panel discussions by the Secretary General, Secretary of the Main Unit and the head of the Work Unit.
Within the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, Decree of the Director General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Number HK.02.02/E/211/2024 concerning the Champion Team for the Transformation of the Technical Implementation Unit for the Security of Medical Devices and Health Facilities has been established.

On December 11 to 13, 2024, at Avenzel Hotel and Convention, the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices held a meeting on Strengthening Champions in Supporting the Implementation of Health Transformation and Internal Transformation.
This meeting provided training and reinforcement to the Leader of Champion (LoC) and the Champions, both Central and UPT Champions, by presenting the Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) Team.
In his report, the Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Heri Radison, said that this activity aims to obtain action commitments of champions that can be carried out collectively at the organizational level to enable the transformation of work culture behavior within the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices.
“I hope this activity can provide support for the successful implementation of Bureaucratic Reform, Health Transformation and Internal Transformation of the Ministry of Health through change agents as communicators, mediators, activators, and providers of alternative solutions to problems that arise,” said Heri.

Director General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, L. Rizka Andalucia opened the meeting online said that Agents of Change have an important role in realizing good governance.
“We must continue to optimize the Agents of Change within the Directorate General of Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices through the work programs that have been made,” said Rizka.
Rikza further said that change agents are selected individuals who are pioneers and able to drive change, as well as being able to act as role models in behavior that reflects a good work culture and has high performance.
“I hope this meeting can achieve the results we expect, new ideas emerge, new innovations that will bring changes within the organization. Ideas or innovations that seem trivial and simple may actually be useful and will have a big impact in making changes,” said Rizka.
