Bali - Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number HK.02.02/Menkes/221/2016 concerning Supervisors, Assistants and Coordinators, and Supporters of Regional Supervisors within the Ministry of Health, Regional Supervisors have the duties and responsibilities to carry out an inventory of problems, provide guidance and assistance in achieving the objectives of national health development efforts; coordinate the implementation of policies and strategic steps in solving problems in health development programs in the area under their supervision; and make recommendations for acceleration or improvement efforts for the area under their supervision.
The Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices has duties and responsibilities in providing guidance and assistance to 5 provinces, where each province has a Regional Coordinator, namely Echelon II within the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.

The provinces are Riau Islands Province with the Regional Coordinator of the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Bengkulu Province with the Regional Coordinator of the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services, Yogyakarta Special Region Province with the Regional Coordinator of the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Production and Distribution, Bali Province with the Regional Coordinator of the Directorate of Medical Devices and PKRT Assessment, and North Kalimantan Province with the Regional Coordinator of the Directorate of Public Drug Governance and Health Supplies.
To optimize the implementation of guidance, it is necessary to monitor and evaluate and monitor the follow-up plan that has been prepared jointly between the Ministry of Health and the Health Office in the fostered areas of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices. For this reason, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices held an Advocacy Meeting for the Assisted Areas of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in Implementing the Priority Programs of the Ministry of Health T.A. 2019.
The meeting was held from October 14 to 17, 2019 in Nusa Dua, Bali, attended by 40 participants consisting of Directors within the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, regional participants from the Provinces of Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Yogyakarta Special Region, Bali and North Kalimantan; discussants from the Directorate of Prevention and Control of Directly Communicable Diseases, Directorate of Directly Communicable Disease Control, Directorate of Surveillance and Health Quarantine, Directorate of Family Health, Directorate of Public Nutrition; and participants from the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.

The Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, drg. Arianti Anaya, MKM had the opportunity to officially open the meeting which was attended by resource persons from the Ministerial Expert Staff for Health Law and the Directorate of Primary Health Care. This meeting also involved the relevant Main Units as administrators of the Ministry of Health's priority programs, namely the Directorate General of Public Health and the Directorate General of Disease Control and Environmental Health.
The implementation of the meeting was carried out through the delivery of material from resource persons with topics including the Implementation of SPM in the Health sector as well as the Pilot Puskesmas Policy based on the Decree of the Minister of Health No. HK.01.07/Menkes/482/2019 and the Implementation of PIS-PK. In addition, this meeting also discussed the evaluation of the implementation of the Regional Action Plan (RAD) and PIS-PK from the fostered areas of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.

Through this meeting, it is hoped that a good collaboration and synergy between the Center and the Regions can be produced in accelerating the achievement of health indicators to achieve Healthy Indonesia.
