On Thursday, February 16, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals held an online Pre-National Health Work Meeting (Rakerkesnas). The meeting was attended by the Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, the Secretary General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Directors within the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals, Heads of Regional Offices under the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices and Heads of District/City Offices in their regions.
Pre-Rakerkesnas is an initial activity that precedes the 2023 Rakerkesnas activities which will be planned at the end of February offline. This Pre-Rakerkesnas activity aims to socialize the 6 pillars of health transformation to provincial and district / city health offices and identify issues that will be raised at the Rakerkesnas event with the Minister and Deputy Minister of Health.
The meeting was preceded by a report from Ms. Dita Novianti, Secretary General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, who presented the changes in the Assisted Areas of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices in 2023, as follows:
- Yogyakarta Special Region with the Regional Supervisor of the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Management and Services,
- Bengkulu Province with the Regional Supervisor of the Directorate of Medical Device Control,
- North Sumatra Province with the Regional Supervisor of the Directorate of Medical Device Production and Distribution,
- North Kalimantan Province with the Regional Supervisor of the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Production and Distribution, and
- Central Papua Province with the Regional Supervisor of the Directorate of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Resilience.
In her remarks, Mrs. L. Rizka Andalusia, Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, conveyed the 6 pillars of Health Transformation carried out by the Ministry of Health. Health transformation is an urgency that involves various parties, so synergy and collaboration are the keys to success in achieving the outcomes of this health system transformation.
At the meeting, the achievements of the 6 pillars of health transformation in the Directorate General of Pharmacology were also presented. In addition, best practices in achieving health priority programs, as well as issues and obstacles faced were also presented. The results of the identification of issues from each fostered area will be a topic proposed for discussion at the National Health Meeting.
