In commemoration of the 60th National Health Day (HKN), the Ministry of Health honored health workers who have contributed to health technology innovation to support resilience in the national health sector.
The award was presented during the Health Innovation Festival (HAI-Fest) which took place at the Jakarta Convention Center on November 7-9, 2024. Through this award, the Ministry of Health hopes to motivate more health professionals to continue to innovate, improve services, and encourage the advancement of the research-based health industry.
Awards for National Children's Work in the field of Pharmacy and Medical Devices
In the Outstanding Individual category, awards were given to :
- Prof. Dr. Bachti Alisjahbana, Sp.PD-KPTI., Ph.D. as the most productive infectious disease vaccine and diagnostic researcher.
- Dr. dr. Andani Eka Putra, M.Sc as a researcher who actively conducts research and downstreaming of in vitro diagnostic products.
- Prof. Dr. Elfahmi, S.SI., M.SI. as a researcher who actively develops and provides comparators/markers from medicinal plants.
The Outstanding Institution category was awarded to :
- PT Hospi Niaga Utama, as an industry that has successfully conducted clinical trials of medical devices and obtained a distribution license number for ICU ventilator products.
- PT Forsta Kalmedic Global as the first industry to successfully transfer technology and produce hemodialysis products “Hollow Fiber Dialyzer”
- Paguyupan Kasa Pekalongan as a pioneer and activator of the first medical device MSME business in Indonesia.
This award is a symbol of appreciation as well as encouragement for all health personnel to continue to innovate for the advancement of a resilient and sustainable health system.
Health Minister Budi G Sadikin emphasized the importance of strategic collaboration between academia, industry, and government in supporting the development of domestic medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Synergy is considered the key to increasing investment while encouraging sustainable local innovation, in accordance with the third pillar of national health security reform.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Health also handed over Change Approval Letters (SPP) to pharmaceutical industries that have successfully substituted imported drug raw materials with domestically produced drug raw materials.
This step is an important milestone in the journey towards independence of drug raw materials in Indonesia. To support sustainability, the Ministry of Health together with the POM continues to encourage the pharmaceutical industry to further expand the use of local raw materials, as a form of commitment to strengthen national health security.
Appreciation to the Pharmaceutical Industry for Contributions in the Development of Domestic Drug Raw Materials
The Ministry of Health also gave awards to the Pharmaceutical Industry that has contributed to the development of standard drug formulas with domestically produced drug raw materials.
The award was given to:
- PT Indofarma Tbk, and PT Marin Liza for BBO Amlodipine
- PT Lapi Laboratories for BBO Bisoprolol, and
- PT Dipa Pharmalab Intersains for BBO Azithromycin
In addition, awards were also given to a number of pharmaceutical industries, including PT Imedco Djaja, PT Konimex, PT Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories, PT Pratapa Nirmala, PT Sampharindo Perdana, and PT Sejahtera Lestari Farma, which substituted imported raw materials (change source) with BBO amilodipine.
Farmalkes wins various awards at the 60th National Health Day
The Indonesian Ministry of Health also conferred various awards to the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices (DG Farmalkes) for its achievements in various categories.
Best Archives Management:
The Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals received the first rank as an Archives Unit with a score of 99.20, in the AA (Highly Satisfactory) category based on the results of the 2024 Internal Archives Supervision.
Policy Quality Index:
The Superior Predicate was achieved by the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Production and Distribution, Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.
Very good predicate was given to the Directorate of Pharmaceutical Management and Services, Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.
Favorite Stand Award:
The Center for the Safety of Medical Devices and Facilities (BPAFK) won third place as the Favorite Stand.
This award is clear evidence of Farmalkes' hard work in supporting national health reform, particularly in archival management, policy development, and service innovation.

In addition to receiving awards for its achievements, the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals also gave a number of awards to various parties who contributed to improving Health services and technology-based logistics management.
