"Sehat Negeriku Tumbuh Indonesiaku" is the theme of the 57th National Health Day which illustrates the rise of enthusiasm and optimism of all components of the nation to work together to resolve the COVID-19 pandemic. The 57th National Health Day commemoration is also a momentum that can be used to re-educate, increase community participation in the implementation of health protocols and COVID-19 vaccination coverage, and educate changes in clean and healthy living behavior, especially in efforts to increase endurance.
Immunity can be increased through COVID-19 vaccination or by natural means with adequate rest, balanced nutrition, and physical activity that is done properly measured and regularly.
Regular physical activity to improve physical fitness is one of the efforts that can be done easily and cheaply to reduce risk factors for various non-communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, diabetes, cancer, which are the highest financial burden. These diseases also become comorbidities that will increase the severity of COVID-19 infection.
Jakarta, November 05, 2021 at the Kemenkes GOR, representatives of the Directorate General of Pharmacology participated in a badminton match organized by the Kemenkes Badminton Club committee. This activity is one of the 57th HKN commemoration agendas which is carried out by implementing health protocols.
Secretary General of the Ministry of Health Kunta Wibawa had the opportunity to officially open this activity. In his remarks, the Secretary General said "I really hope that ASN in the Ministry of Health, both at the central level and the Technical Implementation Unit, can be an example and role model for the community, especially exercising as a form of our investment to stay healthy and fit, so that we can still do productive work even during a pandemic".
