The Directorate of Pharmaceutical Services, Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, Ministry of Health conducted a Socialization of Minister of Health Regulation (PMK) Number 34 of 2020 concerning Pharmaceutical Service Standards in Clinics which was held on Thursday, January 20, 2021, via zoom and live streaming youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17RjFximEJQ). This webinar began with an opening and direction from the Director of Pharmaceutical Services. This is a mandate from PP 51 of 2009 concerning Pharmaceutical Work and PP 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Risk-Based Business Licensing in the Health Sector.
The purpose of this PMK socialization is to:
- Improving the quality of pharmaceutical services in pharmaceutical service facilities, especially in clinics;
- Ensuring protection and legal certainty for pharmaceutical workers and other health workers who carry out pharmaceutical services in clinics;
- Protect patients and the public from irrational use of drugs in order to improve patient safety.
The meeting was attended by representatives of pharmaceutical professionals in charge of pharmaceutical services in health service facilities, representatives of provincial/regency/city health offices and representatives of the POM Agency and professional organizations, as well as business actors in the health and pharmaceutical sectors. With a total of approximately 1,510 participants.
