Kemenkes Goes to Campus was held again, this time through the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices visiting young talents at Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) in Bogor on Friday (2/8).
The “ Kemenkes Goes to Campus” program is a strategic initiative organized by the Ministry of Health as part of the process of acquiring the best talents in public and private universities in Indonesia to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in the health sector.
Through this activity, the Ministry of Health seeks to introduce itself more closely to students, fresh graduates, and alumni of universities. By providing comprehensive information about the various programs and career opportunities available at the Ministry of Health.
Kemenkes Goes to Campus is here to find smart and creative young talents in universities to jointly realize the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045. In an effort to realize this, the Ministry of Health is committed to collaborating with selected universities in establishing cooperation in various fields of science, for the realization of a healthier Indonesia.

Today, the Ministry of Health is in dire need of thousands of talents who are not only smart, but also creative, to continue the health transformation that has been launched. By opening wide opportunities for the best graduates, the MoH wants to give the younger generation the chance to join and contribute to realizing this noble goal.
In the Kemenkes Goes to Campus video, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, delivered a message full of enthusiasm and hope. “Today, I need 8,000 smart and creative young talents to continue the health transformation that we have promoted together. The goal of Indonesia Emas 2045 is getting closer to this glorious vision of the future. I am optimistic that we will be able to achieve it, as long as you are willing to help me,” Budi said with confidence.
Secretary of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Prof. Dr. Ir. Agus Purwito, M.Sc. A. Agr, in his speech expressed his pride for the achievement of IPB which has now been recognized as a world-class university. He emphasized that IPB continues to be committed to developing and becoming a great university. Prof. Agus also thanked the Ministry of Health for choosing IPB as one of the locations for the “Ministry of Health Calling Talents” event. According to him, the presence of the Ministry of Health on this campus is a valuable opportunity for students and graduates to get to know more closely the various opportunities offered in the health sector.

On this precious occasion, Director General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices L. Rizka Andalucia explained that the Ministry of Health has the largest Health System Transformation program in Indonesia, which consists of six main pillars. This national health transformation is a colossal effort to improve the health status of the Indonesian people towards the ideals of the Golden Indonesia 2045.
“By joining the Ministry of Health, we can be agents of change in advancing the health system, from a focus on treatment to prevention and health promotion, as well as improving the quality and affordability of the health system,” Rizka said enthusiastically.
He also emphasized that the Ministry of Health is looking for various experts in health and non-health fields. This opportunity is wide open for talents from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) who have the expertise and passion to contribute to Indonesia's health sector, especially in health transformation.
Rizka emphasized that to become a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Ministry of Health, you do not have to come from a health background. The Ministry of Health opens the door for health fighters from various disciplines. The Ministry of Health requires managerial skills, technology, communication and information expertise, as well as economic and social expertise in quality health management.
Furthermore, Rizka said that “more than 55% of civil servants in the Ministry of Health are Gen Y, Millennials, and Gen Z. They are young health warriors who are ready to bring change. They are young health warriors who are ready to bring change. The Ministry of Health has transformed to be more agile and open, more modern, and healthier.” Rizka said.
With the spirit of collaboration and innovation, the Ministry of Health believes that the younger generation will be key in realizing a better health system for Indonesia. The event was attended by hundreds of students from various fields of science at IPB University, who are excellent students from all over Indonesia. The atmosphere was very lively, where the students looked so enthusiastic following each series of activities.

There was also an education booth that thoroughly explored how to be smart and wise in choosing and using medical devices and household health products. This booth became one of the main attractions, as it provided practical knowledge that was very useful for visitors.
Not only that, the booth also presented a variety of information related to the recruitment of State Civil Apparatus Candidates (CASN) at the Ministry of Health. This provided valuable insights for students who wanted to get more information about career opportunities in the health sector.
