BALI - Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, drg. Arianti Anaya, MKM has opened and delivered a speech at the first Functional Position Development Workshop meeting for Pharmacists and Pharmacist Assistants held at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel Bali from September 4 to 6, 2019.
Workshop participants came from 34 provinces consisting of representatives from the Health Resources (SDK) section of the Provincial Health Office, representatives from the Functional Position Appraisal Team for Pharmacists/Assistant Pharmacists, and Functional Position Holders for Pharmacists/Assistant Pharmacists.
The implementation of this meeting is a mandate from Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN), that in order to implement the ideals of the nation and realize the state's goals as stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, it is necessary to build ASNs that have integrity, are professional, neutral and free from political intervention, clean from KKN practices, and able to organize public services for the community and be able to play a role as an adhesive element of national unity and integrity based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The government targets that 25% of ASN in 2024 will be filled by the nation's best children. Smart ASN has 8 characteristics, namely integrity, nationalism, professionalism, global outlook, mastering information technology and foreign languages, hospitality, having an extensive network, and having an entrepreneurial spirit.
The workshop participants were provided with insights from various resource persons including the Chairperson of the National Pharmacy Committee, Director of ASN BKN Position, Head of Health Resources of Bali Provincial Health Office, Head of Health Functional Position Development Division, Head of Functional Position of HR Apparatus KemenPAN, Head of Personnel and General Affairs of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Health Equipment, Mrs. Dra. Chusun, M.Si., Apt. and Mrs. Dra. R. Kurniasih, M.Pharmn., Apt. as the Regulatory Drafting Team of PermenPAN Functional Position of Pharmacist and Assistant Pharmacist.
In addition, this event is a manifestation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 60/2016 on the Development of Health Functional Position and Non-health Functional Position within the Ministry of Health, which states that the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices is the fostering unit for the functional position of Pharmacist and Pharmacist Assistant.
In this workshop, participants learned the method of calculating and preparing the formation of health functional positions as well as preparing and assessing the credit score for the functional positions of Pharmacist and Pharmacist Assistant, as well as conducting a trial of the SEPAKAT application (Electronic System for Preparing Credit Score for Pharmacists and Pharmacist Assistants) which will facilitate the submission of credit scores and accelerate the assessment process, so that as ASN and health workers, functional pharmacists and pharmacist assistants are not only required to excel themselves to become Smart ASN, but also must contribute to creating superior human resources by playing their role in supporting health priority programs.
At the end of the Workshop on Functional Position Development of Pharmacists and Pharmacist Assistants, there were several follow-up plans agreed upon and signed by the Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices with representatives of each functional position holder at the provincial / city health offices, hospitals and health centers.
