Secretary of the Directorate General of Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Heri Radison, inaugurated and took the oath of office of 13 functional officials within the Ministry of Health on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Surakarta.

This inauguration was carried out in the context of career development, professionalism of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), and improving organizational performance at the Ministry of Health, which requires the appointment of positions in functional positions.

In his remarks, Heri said that the Ministry of Health is committed to the six pillars of health transformation in line with the President's vision to realize a healthy, productive, independent and equitable society. One of these pillars is the Transformation of Health Human Resources (HRH), where it is necessary to equalize quality health human resources to increase public access to health services. Heri also emphasized to the inaugurated functional officials to continue learning, improving themselves, and developing the profession. “Master the tasks and functions thoroughly, learn new things, and always improve work performance,” he said.

He also reminded ASNs to be role models in the work environment, have a high work ethic, and avoid various forms of irregularities that can have a negative impact on themselves, their families, the work environment, and even society at large.

Furthermore, Heri stated that the future work challenges will be even tougher. “I ask you to always improve your knowledge and competence in your respective fields. Increase creativity and create innovations in responding to the challenges of the times. Hopefully this can be a motivation for you to continue to improve your competence to carry out your duties. Express gratitude by carrying out your duties and responsibilities professionally,” said Heri.

Closing his remarks, Heri added, “I hope that through your inauguration in this position, you can always improve your professionalism at work, and contribute optimally to your respective departments.”
